Vasilia Wees is a new talent on the Pottery Tour this year, working out of LeBaron Studio. Apprenticing with veteran potter Bentley LeBaron, Wees is enjoying creating both handbuilt and wheel formed functional pieces and exploring the chemistry of glaze creation. Luscious dark colors like metallic black, gun metal and copper reds are among those currently inspiring this former fabric artist's artistic imagination.
